First post! Let us unite in fellowship...

The days are short, the groanings of creation are crying out in egar expectation for the Holy One. Are we ready, will we stand? We cower and cry at the mountain of obstacles. In vain we struggle. By our own might we fail. Will we ever learn? Will we ever know that it is not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit. Our human nature propels us in the fight, just to wear us out, to bring defeat. It is so against our nature to lay it down at His feet and just believe. Oh, the trouble we would save ourselves if we would just believe in the power of our urgent supplications. Knowledge and understanding of His Word are the stepping stones, the cornerstones the headstones. It is the celebration of His grace that will bring down the mountain.

The work here at Berean is not coming to an end. It is not winding down. There is battle going on here. The warriors of the enemy are all around us. Pushing, pulling...keeping us focused on the tiny, the mundane, the impossible. Their goal is our defeat, but we will not be defeated. Where is our army? Those who are fed, who are taught? It is all for a purpose and not our own. It is His purpose, His battle, His victory. It is just for us to believe.

To the world we might seem weak and waning but as the seed must fall into the ground in order to bring forth fruit, we will sprout forth in a mighty way to touch the world... to spread the truth, to be a light in the darkness. Stand with us, pray with us, rejoice with us. I open this line of communication so we can lift each other up, so we can pray together and fellowship.

Thank you for your zeal in continuing on with the good work that Brother Ed began many years ago! We represent just two of the many whose lives have been touched in a significant way through Berean Ministries. We encourage you to press in and press on...the BEST is yet to come.
